You stop checking the mirror every hour wondering if your brows still match. You don’t panic when it rains or when you’re running late. Your face has definition and symmetry that wasn’t there before—or that you’ve been drawing in manually for years.
Microblading gives you back time. It also gives you confidence in how your brows look from every angle, in every light, without constant maintenance.
For clients dealing with over-plucked brows, thinning from age, or sparse growth, this is the difference between spending 15 minutes every morning trying to get your brows even and just walking out the door. The results last 12 to 18 months, and the color stays true. No fading to weird tones. No patchiness. Just clean, natural-looking brows that complement your features.
We serve Wendell and 22 other cities across Wake County with a level of expertise that’s been recognized internationally. Jacqueline Grace, our founder and licensed esthetician, has been named Best Esthetician in Wake County three years running and placed first in Pigmentation Artist of the Year at The Skin Games—a global competition for permanent makeup artists.
That’s not luck. That’s training, repetition, and a commitment to doing this right. Every consultation is one-on-one. Every treatment is customized. And every brow is measured and shaped to fit your face, not a template.
Wendell clients come here because they want someone who understands facial symmetry, skin tone, and how to create results that don’t look “done.” You’re not getting a tattoo. You’re getting brows that look like yours—just better.
Your appointment starts with a free consultation where we talk about your goals, your natural brow shape, and what’s realistic for your skin type and lifestyle. This isn’t a quick in-and-out. We take time to map your brows, measure symmetry, and choose the right pigment to match your natural color.
Before the microblading begins, a topical numbing cream is applied. Most clients feel minimal discomfort—maybe a slight pressure, but nothing sharp or painful. The actual process involves using a fine blade to deposit pigment into the upper layers of the skin, creating hair-like strokes that mimic your natural brow pattern.
The light, airy powder brow technique we specialize in gives you soft definition without harsh lines. It’s the difference between brows that look tattooed and brows that look like they grew that way. The whole appointment takes about two hours. Aftercare is simple—keep them dry for a week, avoid heavy sweating, and let them heal. You’ll come back for a touch-up around six weeks later to perfect the shape and fill in any areas that didn’t retain pigment as well.
Ready to get started?
You get a complimentary consultation before anything happens. That’s where we assess your skin, discuss your concerns, and design a brow shape that works with your bone structure and personal style. No pressure. No upselling. Just honest feedback.
The service includes the initial microblading session, numbing cream, custom pigment matching, and a follow-up appointment for touch-ups. You also get detailed aftercare instructions and access to our team if you have questions during the healing process.
In Wendell and the surrounding Wake County area, clients are increasingly looking for permanent makeup solutions that save time without sacrificing quality. The demand for eyebrow tattoo services has grown over 20% in the past year alone, and that’s because people are tired of the daily grind of filling in sparse brows or dealing with asymmetry. Whether you’re looking for nano brows for ultra-fine detail or powder brows for a softer, filled-in look, the goal is the same: natural results that last. We use medical-grade pigments and follow strict hygiene protocols backed by one of the most respected medical directors in the Triangle.
Microblading typically lasts between 12 and 18 months, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and how well you follow aftercare instructions. Oily skin tends to break down pigment faster, so you might see fading closer to the 12-month mark. Drier skin usually holds pigment longer.
You’ll need a touch-up around six weeks after your initial appointment. This isn’t optional—it’s part of the process. The first session creates the shape and deposits pigment, but not all of it will retain perfectly as your skin heals. The touch-up fills in any gaps and ensures the color is even.
After that, most clients come back once a year for a refresh. Think of it like maintaining highlights or getting a facial. It’s not constant upkeep, but it does require some maintenance to keep your brows looking sharp.
Most clients describe microblading as uncomfortable but not painful. Before we start, we apply a topical numbing cream to the brow area and let it sit for about 20 minutes. This significantly reduces sensation.
During the procedure, you might feel a scratching or light pressure, but it’s not sharp pain. Some areas of the brow are more sensitive than others—usually the inner corners and the arch. If you start to feel more discomfort, we can reapply numbing cream.
Pain tolerance varies from person to person. If you’ve had your eyebrows waxed or threaded, microblading feels similar in terms of discomfort level. The numbing cream does most of the heavy lifting, and the whole process is over in about two hours. Most clients are surprised by how manageable it is.
Microblading uses a manual blade to create hair-like strokes that mimic natural brow hairs. It’s ideal if you want a more textured, feathered look. The strokes are crisp and defined, and they work well for people with normal to dry skin.
Powder brows use a machine to deposit pigment in a way that creates a soft, filled-in effect—similar to how your brows would look if you used a brow powder or pencil. This technique works better for oily skin because it holds pigment more reliably. It also gives you a slightly bolder look without being harsh.
Nano brows are a newer technique that combines the precision of microblading with the consistency of machine work. The strokes are ultra-fine and incredibly natural-looking. It’s a great middle ground if you want definition but don’t want anything too bold. We help you choose the right technique based on your skin type, lifestyle, and the look you’re going for.
In North Carolina, the only legal requirement to offer microblading is a tattoo permit. That permit has nothing to do with skill, training, or understanding of facial anatomy. It’s a licensing formality, not a quality standard.
This is why choosing your microblading artist matters. You want someone who’s been trained specifically in permanent makeup, understands skin types and pigment science, and has a portfolio you can review. Jacqueline has competed internationally and placed first in pigmentation categories at The Skin Games. She’s also HydraFacial Master Certified and continues ongoing training to stay current with techniques and safety protocols.
Ask to see before-and-after photos. Ask about their training and how long they’ve been doing this. And trust your gut—if something feels rushed or too cheap, that’s usually a red flag. Microblading done poorly can result in scarring, uneven pigment, or brows that look unnatural. It’s worth investing in someone who knows what they’re doing.
Your brows will look darker and more defined immediately after the appointment. That’s normal. The pigment will lighten as your skin heals, usually settling into the final color within four to six weeks.
For the first week, you’ll need to keep your brows dry. That means no sweating, no swimming, and being careful in the shower. You’ll also avoid putting makeup or skincare products directly on the brow area. We’ll give you an aftercare ointment to apply a few times a day to keep the area moisturized.
Around day three or four, your brows will start to flake. Don’t pick at them. Let the skin shed naturally. Picking can pull out pigment and create patchy spots. By week two, the flaking is usually done, and your brows will look lighter—sometimes too light. That’s why the touch-up appointment is so important. It brings back the color and fills in anything that didn’t take the first time.
Yes. This is one of the most common reasons people come in for microblading. Over-plucking, aging, and certain medical conditions can all lead to sparse or uneven brows. Microblading fills in those gaps and restores shape.
If your brows are patchy or missing in certain areas, we can create hair-like strokes that blend with your existing brow hairs. If your brows have thinned with age and lost definition, we can rebuild the shape and add color to give your face a more lifted, youthful appearance.
For clients with very little natural brow hair left, powder brows or a combination technique might work better. The key is customizing the approach to your specific situation. During your consultation, we’ll assess what you’re working with and recommend the best method to get you the results you’re looking for. Microblading won’t make your natural hair grow back, but it will give you the appearance of fuller, more defined brows that last.
